My
Home is in Huntington Beach California, a city on
the Pacific Ocean. Pounding surf, sand castles,
beach toys, star fish and sea sprayed air has
always been part of me. From the month of
September until June one is apt to find me at the
beach. The briny ocean air, sounds of rolling
waves bathing the seashore, chirping of sandpipers
and even the annoying squawk of seagulls are
hypnotizing to me.
There
is where my love for creative writing flows. The
idea to send the initial mail I sent to my friends
daily had birth at the beach, that was three years
ago. A friend who publishes one of the first
newsletters on the web, thought my little E-zine
would be interesting for her readers to receive.
"More Mail From Mary" became a supplementary
newsletter for TheLadyisReal Press. From the very
start she encouraged me to publish online as an
editor of my own newsletter. Hard to leave a
mother's nest... I finally flew on my own on June
1, 2001.
Amongst my readers are my
friends who received my little daily neswletter.
Lois, Sandy, Deedie, Georgie, Ina Mae, Patty and
my dear online friend Rosemary, who waited
anxiously for my mail each morning. She never
seemed to cease telling me that my mail was her
morning ray of sunshine. There are many more to
mention, I thank each one of you for letting me
fill your mailboxes, never complaining one time. I
know I got carried away more than once. To all the
readers who have joined me, thank you for your
overwhelming response. An "Angel unaware", my
webmistresss Lori, came out of no where to fulfill
my secret wish to place all More Mail From Mary
indexed on a web site. Thanks Lori, I could not
have done it without you.
Do to some medical
issues I am not publishing a weekly newsletter at
this time, but will be sending emails to you all
from time to time. Please sign my guest book while
you are here with any questions or comments you
may have. I will respond to them as soon as I can.
